As soon as Mirror Lake at Snoqualmie Pass melts, I begin posting weekly trail reports. These reports are based on Sentinel-2 satellite scans of the PCT which occur every five days but require no cloud cover to be useful. When the cloud cover is exceptionally low, that scan is adopted by the PCTA ArcGIS trail map.
These reports continue until there is no need for PCT backpackers to take snow equipment on any part of the trail. As fires pop up, I will include them in the trail reports.
